That would be excellent. But Carlson isn't signing here... Rest is great smile

This team has some really good elements. I like the acquisition of Klefbom/RNH, and that's one of the deepest and most balanced forward corps I've ever seen. That said, I have some issues here.
    1. Trade Weber instead of Petry. Firstly, this can save a pick or dump a contract, since Weber very much would be overvalued by Chiarelli, while Petry would probably be undervalued. Secondly, Petry's play is actually generally better than Weber's in most areas, as Weber tends to be too cautious on defense and in transition (like most NHL dmen) while Petry's more aggressive and more effective. He also drives scoring chances better by not settling for point shots as much.
    2. Carlson's WAY overkill for a 2RD, and locking up $16 million on two RDs, one who's on the wrong side of 30 and another who's close, is gonna hurt other areas as the ELCs expire. Franson/Pateryn could provide a solid 2RD for much less.
    3. I'm not sold on Zadina as 1RW straight out of the draft. His results IMO don't really show him as NHL ready: I'd like to give him a year. Grabner/Neal might make more sense.
    4. Will Bitten's a PPG guy in the AHL on a bad team. Evans is good, but I think Bitten is a better bet right now.
    5. The second line could use another goal scorer: Domi and Danault are both pure playmakers and Gallagher isn't the type to constantly be turning passes into shots. Swapping Domi and Drouin could help the balance there a lot.
    6. Play RNH on PP1 and get Domi back on the wing.
    7. Don't play Weber/Klefbom on their off sides on the PP.
    8. Run a 4F 1D PP, they're almost always more effective.
    9. Plekanec probably costs about 3 million.

    1. I disagree, Weber is a lot better than what people give him credit for, He played 26 game with broken foot and manage to score 15PTS, he his great in defense and a menace on the PP with his shot. He his great support for Carey Price in front of the net, and strong enough to win every battle in the corners. he is great at cutting passing lanes. Also, his contract is not that bad in term of value. Petry, has a -26... even with 42 PTS... which is not great, I would rather have Carlson. Yes he can move the puck, but Carlson does it better and faster.

    2. Carlson won't be 2RD, we would have two 1RHD... Weber won't have to play 30Min each game...

    3. He might not be ready yet, but look at Hischer -> in a position to succeed, he just might impress us.

    4. Bitten plays in the OHL and not the AHL, Evans is 21 and played in the NCAA, with older players, he is a lot closer to the NHL. - we could swap him for DE la Rose

    5. I like my second line -> gally can shoot from everywhere in every position and in the dirty area... perfect for a feed from Domi, - these three players are intense, and combine would be deadly

    7. I want them on their off side to get a shot from Weber, and it opens up a passing lane to Zadina the sniper on the right side

    8. It depends who you have on your team.

    9. he wants to finish his career in MTL -> To get 2 or 3 years, he will lower his price
