Description
Skinner trade brings speed and Darling can help take on some of the load with Ullmark.
Hoffman has little trade value so I think pick 32 gets it done.
Adding some speed and scoring on the wings without having to give too much in return.

Buffalo shouldn’t be moving draft picks for roster players in the 27 year old range. We need to be worrying more about youngsters who will be ready to win cups in 4-5 years with our core

That's what the team said 3-4 years ago now. A three year rebuild cant turn into a 8-10 year rebuild. We still have a good amount of draft picks and can always move more people for more picks if year goes sideways.

The roster he assembled has 7 or 8 of 18 skaters 23 or younger

I don’t like moving that many young assets for Skinner and Hoffman who are both 27 (I believe around there.) I’d do one of those deals not both

I'd like to be good at some point. That's 2 35-30 goal scorers for non 1st round picks and nylander

Im not sure you would have to pay much more than that for Hoffman. I think he is considered "damaged goods" by many in the league. You could add a little more to the trade but I don't think it would have to be much.

I do not want Hoffman at all. We don't need another guy bringing more drama and off ice issues to this team.
