Addressing defensive depth by shipping out your most promising Dman, signing a center and trading for another. Hmmm.... And you wouldn't get Draisaitl with those, not even close.

Yeah, I definitely went overboard with the acquisitions of the Centers. Overcompensating for the Blues' biggest need (help up the middle and powerplay help).

You are likely right on Draisaitl...but I have read multiple times that Edmonton is very high on Parayko. This is assuming of course they don't land Karlsson.
