Jets dont have a bad contract on that team, when every team has a bad contract. the only one thats questionable is Little, but i think if Stasney doesnt resign Little will get the 2nd line job and produce more. but i will say i think Morrissey will sign for 5+ mill

Josh Morrissey has never had over 27 points in a season. Offense always gets rewarded at the contract negotiation table and good defense usually takes a back seat. Case in point, Tyler Myers and Chris Tanev. I love the guy, but if he makes over 5+ million that means our GM of the year candidate isn't doing a GM of the year kind of job. As for mistakes. Chevy has pulled at least two bits of magic for every mistake he has ever made in the last 7 years. God forbid he overpay one of our guys, I fully expect him to strike a bargain with someone else.

As for 2C production, I'm much more concerned about rates. Roslovic has easily the highest points per minute of ice time, (better than most NHL 1st liners,) so I'd like to see him get the nod at 2C to start the season. If Jackie fails to live up to the hype both Lowry and Little produce points on par with a 2C based on their ice time.
