How do you pay Marner and Matthews the following year?

Plekanec, Gardiner, and Hainseys contracts are up freeing around 11 mil which can be given to Matthews. Marners contract comes depending on the succession of the season, making certain players available, specifically Marleau, other expendable players following the post season like Connor Brown and Hyman can be moved to free up space as well as the cap increase that will occur once again at the end of the year. Plus the plethora of draft picks, of course seeing as they are chosen wisely, those prospects hopefully grow or become ready making contracts less of a problem down the road.

Marleau has a NTC in his contract and has to agree to be traded. You will not have enough money to sign Matthew's, Marner and field the rest of the team. Face it if JT is signed in Toronto, Matthews, Marner and or Nylander are gone..
