That would be awesome, only thing I see is they are going to sign Bowey. He wil get 1 mil +. Maybe drop each player 250,000 and put copely at goal. it may work. carlson will have to stay at 7.

Sign DSP for less. As mentioned elsewhere, he has received a bump in pay after a strong performance only to not deliver after. (San Jose / NJ). 800k max. I think Beags would sign for less just to stay for the 4 year deal. Carlson might walk for the 7million. He can probably fetch more, but I sure would like to keep this group together for 1 more year.

Bowey would most likely get ~1mil for 2-3 years as a bridge deal; obviously the key would be to sign Carlson for under 7mil, but we’ll see. He could definitely get more money elsewhere, but if he wants to stay in Washington he may take 7mil. Comparables for #1 defensemen would probably be Doughty (7mil), Keith (<7mil), Letang (7.25mil), Hedman (7.8mil), Subban (9mil), and Burns (8mil). Wilson is tough because while he is a first line winger with some offensive/physical upside and draws penalties/can play on the PK, he spends a lot of time in the box/suspended. DSP had the minimum contract this year, that being said, we SHOULD be able to get him for less, probably ~1mil. After the playoffs he had he could ask for more, but if it went to arbitration I don’t think he’d get more than $1.25mil.
