Description

Sign Dadonov to replace Marleau as first line LW.

Sign Krug to a huge deal to lock up top 4 D.

Re-sign Dermott, Grundstrom and Bracco as role plalyers.

Trade Kadri for cap relief (hope to get that in return as Chicago will want established players as they expect to contend every year). Sign Thorton as 3rd line C in what is probably his last year.

Yikes...no way Krug is worth anywhere near 9M - 7 year deal. And Jumbo Joe in 2 years is likely to be trimming his beard on the beach full time, not lacing up the skates. And Kappy and Johnsson will be earning more than these numbers for certain

That's gonna be the cost for a top pairing D in two years. Especially if he continues to put up 55-60 + points a year. Carlson put up 65+ this year and will get about 8.2-8.4, so in two years the same production will get 9+ a year.
