If he gets moved with an extension in place, it has to start with Huberdeau

Bjugstad is a good start, but we'd be pushing reeeeal hard for Huberdeau. We have no need for McCann or Petrovic so that doesn't move the needle.

I think a good hockey deal that works for both sides would be around Huberdeau+ for an extended Panarin

What about a Panarin that isn’t extended?

Probably Bjugstad and a 1st. But i don't think they trade him without an extension

If rumors are true and the Panthers are one of his preferred destinations then they could trade for him without the extension and then work that out before next July. Limits cost for the Cats. It’s in the Jackets best interest to get a trade with him doing an extension to maximize return
