Made one early this morning that i got somewhat creative with, traded krejci and Heinen to car for skinner and a pick and swapped Krug with klefbolm. Both of those moves saved bos about 2.5-3 mil and i had to ship out mcquaid for a late round pick and added oduya on a 1 year PTO contract

And looking forward with no cap movement it was a little over 21 mil in cap space next season to resign the core young guys.

I tried to build on the assumption that krejci and backs wont waive there no trades this offseason. I need to do one for next offseason when they can actually get moved if they want to or not

Feel like the fact that boston is meeting in person with him indicates that one of Backes and krejci already agreed to a potential trade if jt accepts the offer. Because there’s really no other way to do it unless Krug Backes or krejci get moved

well they can afford him this year if they cheap on the rest of the roster holes and just go all in this one year

Yeah thts probably what would end up happening. I wouldn’t mind trying to swap Krug with klefbolm instead of getting Dillion even tho he is cheaper. I just think klefbolm has the ability to take those top role minutes and don’t wanna see chara with Mcavoy this year just because idk how much more he can take

I agree I think klefbom is better than dillion I was looking for a vet to stick next to macavoy and they seem to be ready to give demelo away so I went with quantity. ill miss krugs offense but you cant have it all.
