Cup winning team... change my mind

Description
Obviously there are lots of trades going on in this look, but I think if each trade and signing is individually scrutinized, both teams will benefit. Teams that take on higher cap players from the Jets have the cap space, teams that trade some higher cap players to the Jets need the cap space, and free agent signings at prices slightly above players estimated value make Winnipeg desirable for a UFA (In this scenario.) Center depth markedly improves, Jets maintain top 2 centre prospects (Appleton, Roslovic,) and strong wingers and D added, along with a good backup G.

    Lehner was not qualified and therefore is a free agent. You will need to dump Mason somewhere else.

    Note - I understand there are probably more trades going on here than could realistically happen in an offseason, especially with the time demand of all the signings that the Jets have to make. Just using this to demonstrate some trade possibilities/ opportunities that would maintain the youth of the club and keep them afloat in terms of cap.

    Should be no problem. In that case, Jets sign Hutch as a backup, dump Mason to a team like Carolina in a similarly structured trade.
