Description

Habs look long-term and move Price to the team that can use him the most -- the Oilers. Habs shave $3M off Price contract. They add in Pacioretty who will thrive alongside either of RNH or McDavid. Oilers fans decry giving up Draisaitl, but feel better when the Cup is paraded down Jasper Avenue.

Buffalo gets a needed salary dump and Montreal gets a solid, injury-plagued RHD to go with Weber, another solid, injury-plagued RHD. Perhaps between the two of them, they'd play a whole season.

We've got a part-time RHD in Weber. You've got a part-timer in Bogosian. Surely one of them will be healthy on most nights. And, if they're both healthy some day, it might actually be cool to see.
