I like the way this team looks with Tavares in the mix. The top-six looks lethal. One move I would make is try to get another bottom-six left winger. On the depth chart, I noticed there are plenty of right wingers but not a ton of left-wingers.

The core idea (Tavares to SJS) is great! The Sharks are one of the few teams where Tavares both fills a need and his contract probably doesn't hurt their window. Among teams he's talking to at this point, them and DAL are the only real fits. That said, there are some issues in execution:
1. Sbisa sucks. He was VGK's worst dman by just about every metric. Even the coach who made Ryan Reaves good couldn't get major contributions out of him. The fact that he had 10 GAR man Colin Miller as his partner for a lot of the year really emphasizes how bad he is. Get him out of your top 4 and off your team. If you need a top-4 LD in Free Agency this year, it's pretty much Hamhuis or bust.
2. Jason Chimera's play died long ago. Play a young guy with some upside in his spot and trade for an upgrade at the deadline if needed.
3. Claesson's a fine 3LD, but he's not much of an upgrade over Ryan. Why sign him?
