The Canucks got a brand new, expensive 4th line. Great.

I say they should keep all of the high-end prospects at lower levels to develop for one more year and let the big team tank for Jack Hughes. The trade below with Toronto will help that goal (although a similar trade could be made with any contending team to acquire another 2019 1st rounder).

IRL you're probably right. But this team is about tanking, so I'd rather keep Pettersson in Utica for the year, or at least until after the TDL.

i see where you're coming from, but if the Vancouver management sees any chance to make the playoffs, theyre going for it. and i believe their thot process is they have the best chance with Pettersson in the lineup.
