Firstly of all, Toronto wouldn't be able to afford this lineup next season since Tanev is on the books for next season and so is Marleau and Faulk. The only way you can add both of those players is by removing forwards who are making similar money. So we'd have to trade Brown, Hyman and likely Zaitsev to afford the additions of Tanev and Faulk. I like Tanev, a lot, but I think you get that trade done with just the 1st. Add Borgman or Rosen and see if you get them to retain some salary. The Faulk trade is awful, all Faulk trades are awful, the guy isn't that good.

Secondly, just sop trading people. The team set a franchise record last year and will be significantly better this year as is. Lets just see what we have before we trade everyone away.

I got the Faulk traded based on what a Canes fan thinks is fair. I agree with waiting because Zaitsev will likely be better, Dermott is in for the whole year and with the likes of JVR, Bozak, Polak gone, it makes the D better.

Ohhh copying my Tanev deal from yesterday i see. (Granlund / Tanev package.)

Yesterday you didn't want Tanev, today you do?

Typical Leafs fan. Enjoy another 50 years of losing.

Haha, I never said I didnt want Tanev, just not for Nylander! Typical Canucks fan who thinks he is in the right every single time! Go throw a riot, your version of a parade.
