    Islanders don't need a LHD, so that return doesn't help them. LA wouldn't entertain that offer. Carolina is set with trading Faulk, that may be enough for Skinner though.

    No we need arguably need LHD to fill De Haan's void. I don't see a problem with the trade at all. Nice job

    Leddy, Hickey, Pelech, Aho, Wotherspoon, Vande Sompel, Helgeson. I'm sure NYI is fine, they're probably banking on Aho taking a step this year. I'd rather have McCabe than Nelson anyway

    Two of the players you named are NHLers. And Pelech is a 7th D at best IMO. And that is the root of what's actually going on here lol

    2 NHLers, a top 4 prospect, and a 7th dman for 3 LHD spots, plus a plethora of depth LHD prospects, sounds like they’re in a great position.

    Done waiting on the potential of prospects. If they can push a roster player, fine. But give me NHLers every day of the week.
