I would do the NYR/TBL trade, but not the Duchene trade.

No way on that TBL trade. TB getting the best player and CBJ taking salary dump Callahan and Coburn. Even though you are dumping him to NYR it doesnt make since to grab him or cobrun with the mix. If it was Palat+Johnson for Panarin that even still is a big maybe.

Kudos for creativity and balanced offers...none of these offers are outside of the rehlm of reason.

I am on the fence about the CBJ trade, my feeling is Columbus would want something a little more high end, or possible a 1st rounder added in. I am not saying Palat and Johnson aren't good players, but your also taking on contracts. Youre moving Callahan later, but Tampa presumably wouldn't know this. I guess if your going for bulk over player for player, then this would work...but if I am a CBJ fan i would be pissed. Panarin is an elite level player, none of the other pieces are....In the end, you would know better than I would about what the asking price is.

I think the Rangers would take this, they have a log jam at LW, but I think Milano's skill set would outweigh that. This is definitely a fair offer to take on Callahan for two years.

At first glance, Ottawa could ask for more to move Duchene, but really this was more or less about what was given up to get him from Colorado. There were more moving parts with Turris involved, but they moved him more because of his pending contract. By doing so, they enlisted Nashville to help meet the asking price for Duchene. In the end, Colorado received 3 varied mid level prospects and a 1st, 2nd & 3rd rounder (I am not sure you can count Hammond as any meaningful value beyond his contract). I would argue that Colorado made a hole for themselves early by asking the world, and ended up getting less than I think he was worth, but that isn't Ottawa's fault. Maybe another pick would do the deed? I guess it's going to come down to how motivated Ottawa is to move him, maybe Sen's fans can answer this?
