Who are Texier & Harrington? Looks like a fair deal for extended Panarin

I think he’d sign with you guys. His best friend plays there and they would light the league up. Texier could be a top 6 most likely top 9 C. Harrington has been a good filler D. He hops between AHL and NHL a lot

Hate to give up both Kostin and Kyrou in this deal. But could be worth it if he extends. Since he doesn't want to extend and test the market, it's hard to say yes.

I think he’d resign. He would have comfort with Tarasenko. And they’d light the league up together

Probably, but no guarantee he resigns. Kyrou has a similar skill set, it's a giant "what if" scenario, but if he can provide similar play on a separate line it would be worth not doing

That’s the thing. I don’t think Kyrou would be a day 1 big producer. I think maybe by year two or three at the latest he begins producing at top quality of he can. But i think Panarin gives you a guarantee that he produces and you don’t have too worry if Kyrou doesn’t pan out which i doubt but you never know weirder has happened.

You guys would definitely have a terrifying line up for your top two lines

Something like

Panarin Schenn Tarasenko
Schwartz O’ Reilly Fabbri
Perron Bozak Steen
Maroon Barbashev Jaskin

That’s a deadly as hell and deep as hell lineup.

Defense could use a tiny tiny bit of help but overall that’s a cup contender for sure

Oh no doubt about both. Trust me, I'd be thrilled to have Panarin on this roster. Lines would be more like this

Panarin-O'Reilly-Tarasenko
Schwartz-Schenn-Perron
Fabbri-Bozak/Thomas-Bozak/Thomas
Maroon-Barbashev-Jaskin/Soshnikov

Reason Steen isnt there because Blues will habe to move him to make a trade work. Not just from a salary standpoint, but also just availability in the forward group. They want Thomas to play next season and he's more than likely ready. Bouwmeester has one year left in his contract so Blues will keep him.

I don’t think I’d mind taking Steen over Bouwmeester. I think it’d actually be better that way
