Description

This is Essentially a PIPE DREAM so let's have some fun!
1. Pacioretty trade occurs before the start of 2018-19 season. Immediately signs 5 year/ 5.8m extension (with a Stan Bowman NTC/NMC of course). 2. Another year/half year with NO CRAWFORD in net. mediocre (at best) goaltending from Ward/Forsberg/Delia. 19 & 2 have a come back year, Debrincat an All-star, Sikura and Kahun turn out to be quite useful NHL pieces, but struggles with F depth, and defense glaringly destroy the team. 3. The 2018 Off-season signings; Manning proven useless, as he is, and Kunitz has an ok season with a point total in the low 30's. 4. Chicago finishes 30-42, good enough for 3rd worst in the league (ahead of only VAN, and a Karlsson-less OTT) 5. CHI wins draft Lottery, Selects C Jack Hughes at #1. 6. PANARIN SIGNS, to rejoin with Kane. 6x9.5m. 7. HELLO PLAYOFFS!!!!!

Just saying but Pacioretty wont sign for lower than 7 million a year considering that is what Kane got from San jose.
