I'm not sure how this. helps the Leaf this season and certainly hurts them in future giving away the picks, best prospect Liljegren and Nylander. And again hurts the cap next year due to Performance Bonuses that can't be paid this year

You could have jsut stopped at the Car trade......the team was looking good then....but then the MTL trade happened

Even that Canes deal. Faulk and Zaitsev....equal playing value....despite the rumours that Faulk is a Norris candidate. Skinner is one year rental and Nylander is under Leafs control for four years and playing wise, Skinner isn't better than Nylander. I'd take the potential and a term of Kapanen over McGinn

Take skinner and mcginn kappanen and nylander out. Zaitsev and a prospect/2nd round pick for faulk. done deal. this mock is a case of overthinking. I know from experience.

the mtl and ottawa trades were not the best and Nylander is not gonna sign for 4 mil

None of those trades are gonna happen and if the leafs just be patient those prospects that u traded away will become better then what u got for them that’s how the leafs will win the cup
