And that is how Bergevin 100% gets fired. Not one of these trades will help Montreal. We should be trading for the Future, not the other way around

I agree. Mtl should keep his youngs players and get 1st and seconds for veterans

In a deep draft, as a potential lottery team we have no picks in the first two rounds, why would a rebuilding ream take on EK, He isn't going to sign long term and we give up futures for him for 1 year and a cap dump in Ryan. I would like to be a third wheel in a trade that gets montreal some draft picks and Ryan or a minor prospect and Ryan for giving up nothing but cap space and maybe schlemenco or benn. to help a team land Karlsson.
