Nylander is a 2yr bridge deal this is 2019/20 roster

they might be able to make this happen, im not sure its enough for Trouba but the jets need cap space for Laine, Connor, Wheeler i think to, so cost controlled options are best.

Defence is still kind of weak, but hoping dermot can take a step up to be a top 4 and for Zaitsev to bounce back to being a top 4. Not surewhat we have in bottom pair but i think you can get the bottom pair for under 2 mil.

This shows that every $100k the can save on a contract matters.

The year after this they are free of Marleau and Hortons contract so if they could bridge Nylander to that year instead that would be great.

Sign back up at 900K and Brogman at 900k and Rosen at 900K that 600K plus the 2.1M left in cap space 2.7 give 2.5 to Nylander sign him for 7M and eight and we are good to go

keeping nylander to allow cap hit will allow us to not go into LTIR for 2018/19 and then we can pay bonuses this year instead of carry over to next. thats the hope anyways

WPG has 20 mil in cap space right now and they have to sign Laine, Connor, Wheeler and Myers (maybe) next year and need to sign morrisey and Trouba and a few other rfa's this year. I don't think they can take back an asset that will be more than en ELC next year. They will need to get rid someone and with Trouba demanding 7mil they will not be able to sign Lanie and Myers next year without several other moves (Kulikov, Perrault, Little)

I'm using the Standard young player, top prospect and a 1st for a very good player model. That young player could be Kap or Johnsson.
