What a surprise...you buy out Russel like every one of your teams. And sign nurse for 3 years (that is NOT a bridge deal) like every one of your teams. Over the salary cap like every one of your teams. And trade away most up coming youth like every one of your teams.

Could you explain why 3 years for nurse wouldn't be a bridge deal? I thought since he's only played 3 seasons (2 NHL games in 2014-2015 shouldn't count right?), and he'd only be 26 at the end of the deal. Why wouldn't he still be an RFA? Isn't it 7 season or 27 years of age? Thanks!
