good signing for term and money. Even though janks is off his ELC he really has only played one season in the NHL and for a rookie campaign I am not going to complain about his numbers. the guy is decent defensively and has serious sparks of brilliance offensively. I personally believe he will be a very capable third line center very soon if not now

As for the coming season he slots perfectly into that 4th line center role on a team that really has 2 third lines. I hope they continue to play him with Bennett as they could combine to make a very dangerous sneaky fourth line
