Stocking up the prospect cupboard (NJD/LAK trades)

Description
DISCLAIMER: These trades aren't realistic, as I don't see NJD nor LAK wanting to give up these prospects. This post is simply for fun.

I know that NJD are really high on Mcleod, but they need scoring help and a 1LD, which Nino and Brodin provide. The Kings likely don't want to give up Kupari, but Spurgeon will help them win another cup while Kopitar, Carter, and Doughty are still in their prime. They also have too many left shot D, so Spurgeon gives them a righty to play behind Doughty.

The Wild have a serious need for forward prospects. These trades hurt us in the short run, but help us to gear up for Kaprizov in 2 years.

If anything is unfair, please comment on what would have to be added to make a trade more fair. I'm aware I'm over the 23 man limit, Mcleod and Kunin would be in Iowa for most of the year and Kupari will be in Liiga. I only have them included to show they are a part of the team and our depth.

I’m a little hesitant about adding the pick, but as a Devils fan, I would go for that deal.

I view Brodin as having a little more value than Severson, and adding that little extra value to Nino for Mcleod + 2019 2nd (Nino has proven he can put up 20 goals, where Mcleod is an unknown commodity so the 2nd helps the Wild hedge their bet slightly). I think this trade could really benefit both teams if the Wild decide to move on from Spurgeon!

It was actually thought out and considered our needs, a rarity nowadays. Bravo.

Thank you! I always try to consider other team's needs when I make armchair teams to make it more realistic.

Ty Smith wouldn't make any sense if we're trading Brodin and Spurgeon... We'd need roster players coming back to replace those two and Ty Smith won't be ready to play a top 4 role for a few years. Also, if we got Forbort then getting Ty Smith wouldn't make sense since both are left handed. I like Ty Smith, but he wouldn't make sense with these two trades.
