Initial Creation Date: Jul. 28, 2018
Published: Jul. 28, 2018

Description
This team has 3 power forwards in their primes, three skilled centers in cooch-pavs-Tierney, and finally the electric, high speed, 80+ point winger that they have lacked. This is a fearsome roster.

the lines are less important than the overall roster. Lines are always fluid and injuries are inevitable.

A 3rd rounder and a bad prospect is about equivalent to a 2nd rounder, so either one of those is fine.

The key for me is that the sharks could use the game breaker. the difference maker. A guy other teams fear. The sharks have a lot of very solid players, but not many that other teams truly fear at the level of Crosby or malkin, or Kane/Toews, or McDavid or the like. However, Panarin has the 7th most points in the entire NHL since he entered the league. More than malkin, ovechkin, Tavares, and many other stars. And, he has done it last year with no linemates and a very subpar team in Columbus that clearly would not have been a playoff team without him.

The sharks with Panarin in place of Labanc are downright scary.
