    Thanks, I wasn't familiar on how it worked since he will be a UFA. More cap space then!

    Is Trouba that much better than Krug to give three draft choices?

    In my opinion yes. Krug struggles sometimes in the defensive end and he was in the top 5 in shots in the league but only scored 4 goals (on 244 shots). I may have overpaid for Trouba, but would much rather have him on the team.

    Trouba is coming off a season where he didn't perform as well as he has in the past. Although he is a highly regarded young player, if that could bring his price down even the slightest bit, I would say go for it.

    Thanks for the Krug feedback. Always nice to hear assessments of players from folks that follow the team closely.
