Description

With no trades and no UFA signings. 44 players under contract at roughly what I think they would sign for. I didn't try to guess what would happen with goalies but you hope Grub and Franc are your 1-2 BEST CASE SCENARIO. Didn't guess what happens under them. My question is with real money tied up in tweener guys like Nieto, Calvert, Soda, etc. If guys like Igor, Greer, Lewis, etc outplay them, what does Sakic do? they seem stuck. Is he willing to move on from these guys? (Also Jack Hughes or a top5 pick w OTT's 1st is definitely a hope, if not, sub Bowers in for Hughes spot in the lineup.

IF they trade EK, Stone and Duch, yes they most likely will, if all 3 stay then MTL or VAN will get Hughes
