N.Ehlers value is sky high. It would take at least M.Necas + J.Bean + '19 1st round pick for WPG to accept.

I’m certainly flexible on most of the prospects but they’re not giving up their top center prospect for a left wing, that wouldn’t be prudent.

Winnipeg doesn’t usually trade anyone that commits longterm to them, they let Ladd walk and bought out Stewart but anybody else ie Kane asked out of town. So the odds of ehlers or scheifele in any sorta deal are pretty remote even if the offer coming the other way is pretty fantastic because any player coming back is basically only protected from ufa status about as long as they all ready have ehlers and scheifele all ready signed up for if that makes any sense

Do you think they let the vets walk instead?

I think they may try to sign wheeler and Myers but might get outbid or out termed on wheeler and may feel obligated to overpay a little on Myers if they all ready trade trouba at the draft. This all depends on the season they have if it mirrors last year they could possibly lose Myers and wheeler for nothing and hopefully rob somebody large for trouba
