Lottery protected in 2019? What happens in the event the 2019 stays with the Isles? Does it become unprotected in 2020?

Yeah, something like that. They just have no business moving what will probably be a really high draft pick for a rental in Pacioretty, even though he's pretty good.

How good is Aho? His numbers seem to be lacking but how is he defensively? Is he a puck mover as well? I also think Pacioretty would be excellent on the Islanders, with Bailey/Barzal.

He's very solid in the offensive zone. He's pretty good with the puck, but sort of lacks a 200-foot game. He really needs to add some muscle, but he definitely has a future in the NHL.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPFNbtnl0Lk - this is his best game. Two really good moments, in what I think was his fourth or fifth game. The ability is there, but like a lot of young guys, he has some work to do.
