Possibly DeBrincat.. I don't think they'd want Saad's contract. I figure Murphy is a cheap, young defensemen who can replace Karlsson's minutes and Jokiharju is the main piece of the deal. If the Hawks were to make a deal for a big name then they'd have to deal a high end defensemen prospect and not a forward. We simply don't have enough talented forwards in the pipeline.

i doubt he plays this year, he is going into his 2nd year. He should wait a year.

Possibly. I think he'll get a look once he signs. If it appears he isn't ready then they'd send him down to Rockford for the playoffs then give him a chance to crack the roster in 2019.
