Description

If Detroit can find a suitor for one of their terrible contracts (Helm,Abdelkader,Ericsson,Nielsen), I'd say do it for sure. However this is unlikely so I think trading Vanek and Nyquist at the deadline for picks/prospects and drafting in the top 10 could get Detroit back into the playoffs in 2 or 3 years depending on how the prospects develop.

I agree with the premise but not the title-wings were horrible on offense last year 28th of 31 teams- defense/goal tending(GA) middle of the pack 21st. offense has been the problem the last few years-they need more skilled wingers. Hopefully Ras and Z will help that.
