    Id rather see that 900k waste on Bennett be put towards schultz

    I dont get signing Lovejoy for that salary as a 8th D.
    Murray could do with a better backup in his first NHL season too I suppose

    Bennett is gonzo after this season...

    They could definitely find someone cheaper than Lovejoy but it's nice to have balance with another righty! And Bennett and Geno have good chemistry! Not to mention Sprong, Wilson, and Simon are viable options too!

    Bennett does have chemistry for sure, but with his injury history and the rise of Sheary, Wilson, Rust, Khuni, etc, I doubt the penguins give him another year. I honestly don't even know if another NHL team does.

    Too bad bc I believe he could have been a 20g 40p guy if his development hadn't been so hindered

    If Cullen returns it is a moot point, since Fehr would slot in on Geno's wing. But I believe Cullen will either retire or seek a more lucrative contract with another team. The Pens reaped the benefits of having 5 capable centers on the roster when their depth was tested, so I believe Sundqvist will make the team. But I think Beau is better than Sunny at this stage, which leaves Fehr on the 4th line.
