sorry dude, thats probably the worst contract in the NHL right now, u wouldnt get that trade even if u threw in a 1st and retained half the salary.

You are so wrong. Bailey just put up 71 points in 76 games. You can say he is a byproduct of Tavares but he started of the year on a different line and still produced very well. You have obviously never watched the islanders play. If you did you would see that Tavares and Bailey make one another better. Bailey is a very underrated passer and has finally developed into a strong top six forward. So it is completely ludicrous that you just said a guy who just put up those numbers has the worst contract in the NHL.

Bailey isn’t even the worst contract on his team. Komarov, Ladd, Clutterbuck, Cizikas and Boychuk all have worse contracts.

Also since when is 5 mil aav for a 70 point season a bad deal? Even if he just repeats what he did in 2016-17 and puts up around 55 points, that still isn’t that bad.
