i dont ever see Holl making the team and I think Moore is going to beat Engvall to a job, btw need 3 more players AND the leafs will have to pay Liljegren, Sandin, and Andersen their money. so thats a definate bye to Hyman. But I still see it working, if you don't overpay players like Holl, Johnsson, I can see this working

that depends at what point he is signed, if we someone sign him during camp then you might even only have to pay 8 million, buut if he doesnt Marner is due for a great season beside Tavares who makes players better, so it really depends

Yeah i could see that moore looks good i know babcock seemed to like him and likes engvall as well. and i overpaid guys to show that leafs can pay everybody.. that johnsson and holl money could be a different player idk just pointing out that they have the money, and Liljegren and Sandin are both going to be on there entry level contracts so they wont get paid for at least 2-3 years anyway

how is marner underpaid ? 8.25 is a lot and only reason i dont have him around 7, 7.5 is because i assume he will put up around 70 points next year with tavares

Completely unrelated to this post, but looking to find out from Leafs fans. What would you want in a trade for either McElhinney or Pickard?

Matthews has 74 goals through two seasons.. marner has 42. he also has 132 points in 144 games, marner has 130 in 159 games.. also Matthews is a centre and plays the hardest match ups every night so yeah matthews is way better then marner.
