Description

This shows why it is so difficult to work out trades for all of Ottawa's pending UFA's -- you end up too far under the cap floor. Is the Z trade even legal? And would the Rangers pay that much for Stone?

Edit: I had a trade for Henrik Zetterberg's contract in here, but somehow it disappeared.

i mean. Dorion has gone on record as saying he thinks batherson will be a top6 fwd. Doubt he would trade him for a 3rd if thats what he thought

EVERY guy taken in the fourth round looks like a top-6 forward before he's ever played a minute of professional hockey. Don't accept ANYTHING a GM (including me!) says about a player until you know the player yourself.
