Quinn has said he intends to keep the kids down the middle, so I see Chytil being at center and Howden in Hartford.

As much as we would all love for Staal to be a healthy scratch, I'm pretty sure he'll make the starting lineup

Unfortunately he has, but I think Chytil may be more geared for the wing. Just watching him play he seems like he could really be an explosive winger who can drive the boards as well as the middle of the ice.

Howdy has been awesome from Traverse City and throughout his preseason tenure. Think he deserves a few games before being bumped as a reward. Call him back up if we sell hard at the TDL.

Not sure about Staal. Quinn is gonna put the players on the ice that he thinks will give us the best chance to win. Staal looked good preseason game 1, but game 2 not so much.

I'd like to think that the defense I presented(at least the players) are starters. They've earned their spots. McLeod on the bench for when we play a tough team and need him to protect. Also have McQuaid and Smith to protect with Beleskey waiting in the minors in this scenario.

We shall see though. I'd imagine we see about 10-15 cuts today ?‍♂️

In any case. Let's go Rangers!

I don't know if you've seen it yet, but Larry Brooks put out an article this morning stating that Quinn wants to play the best 9 forwards in the top 9 regardless of position and he tends to be well informed. Maybe Chytil will get put on the wing! LGR
