nice forward core, but you should find a way to slip MSL down to the 3rd line :P or swap Lucic and Schwartz, if anything, Lucic fits a 3rd line role pretty good IMO.

I agree that Schwartz should be in the top 6. If Lucic or Steen could play RW, I would put Schwartz on line two and slide Jaskin to LW on line 3 with MSL on RW

You misspelled "Shattenkirk" in the trade for Pavelski.

We are loaded with forwards bud. No chance we take 2 back AND the castoff goalie for our superstar two way winger.

There are cheaper better options available in goal for a mere 2nd round pick

No way the Blues trade Shattenkirk or Pietrangelo. If you want Bouwmeester or any other defender, go ahead. I wouldn't say that Elliott is a castoff. In all likelihood he returns to the blues this year and plays 30-40 games and continues to excel as he has the past few seasons. But I believe Allen is the future

And still no way you get Pavelski without one of those two. His value is the type that requires and impact player in return, not multiple lesser players

I can see where you are going. Do you think the Sharks would accept Backes, Oshie and Elliott for Pavelski? I recognize that he is an impact player and I believe pairing him with Schwartz/Steen and Tarasenko could be amazing. Both teams need to change their core players up somehow to advance further into the playoffs.

No.
Let's call it a moot point. Wilson called Pavelski untouchable and by all expectations, he could be the next captain. He also has a no trade clause.

The Sharks do not need Oshie and Backes. They need a solid offensive defenseman, preferably the two way offensive dman, and a goalie.

We actually have 15 forwards and adding 2 for 1 and our superstar winger is not helping us.

I appreciate what you are trying to do. I just don't see us as trading partners. I would not mind Oshie, but i'd rather pay a Frolik or Stafford in UFA than give up assets. We have 19 million in cap space.

This is at least not a crazy trade like that Sens guy trying to trade all the players he does not want and Anderson for Couture

Okay. I completely understand why you feel the teams don't match up. I did not realize that the Sharks have 15 capable forwards on their roster. I've heard rumors over the past few years that Thorton and Marleau were available, so I assumed they may just want to rebuild/retool quickly.
