This is the type of trade MTL needs to find if they are trading Petry, but i wouldn't trade him if I was the GM.

I would only trade Petry if Juulson is ready'ish' to take on his minutes. NJ won't make up the offence that Petry has, but if he can be a responsible middle pair defender than I'd be willing to shop Petry. But Bergevin should have confidence in Juulsen before making any Petry move.

I will never give MTL credit for developing young players(ex Galchenyuk), but they have done a nice job with Juulsen. I think they need to give him a year of just playing in the NHL, not just surviving before they can give him more. I think he is still like 21/22.
