Jacob Trouba ??

I believe someone on this site said Trouba would not sign long term with a Canadian team as his father had problems entering Canada. Can anyone expand on this or am I wrong?

I’ve heard this as well, I tried googling it and not much came up. Could be fake news but it’s certainly believable
