So i got bias towards Matt Villalta. My goalie instruction's owner is the goalie coach of Sault Ste Marie, which happens to be where i want to go for juniors and has always been one of my fave CHL teams. During a camp we looked at some footage of Matt and I thought he was playing fantasticly. This is also to save some coin to get the key piece in FA.

I thought about it. I determined since the teams will probably start at 8-9 area Stone starts a bidding war. Pit goes for it and bing bang boom Guentzel, Crosby, Stone, Murray, Letang, DuMoulin and Maata are on the same team, along with Malkin, Hornqvist, Rust and Schultz. My main point with this series isn't really value, its how well the player will fit. Im just spitballing right now. Check out parts 1-3 they are pretty good.

i could see how a desperate team might pay that but team like the penguins are less likely to go over 8 Million

true... lemme get my explanation from my powerpoint…..

Places I can see Stone are Pittsburgh, San Jose, Colorado, Toronto and L.A. Since San Jose is tight for cap, they lose out on Stone. With Nylander needing to be resigned and Dubas showing no interest in trading, Toronto might be out of the race for Stone. L.A is aging and they need to make a splash. The Kings window has closed, I don’t know if Stone would want to go there. Colorado has quite the talent, but Stone wouldn’t want to play on the second line because of Rantanen.* Pittsburgh is a great option, with Kessel wanting to leave. Playing with Crosby will be a major upgrade to his game.

*assumes Landeskog-MacKinnon-Rantanen are a line

i could def see LA overpaying stone. i would say kings and hawks are two desperate teams that need to prove that their best years aren't behind them. i'm not too sure if San jose would work if they plan on resigning karlsson, but i think the Av's are a great fit as well depending on how much their RFA's get paid this summer, as of now the avs have a lot of cap space to get him right now via trade
