Description

Roster going into playoffs. Would like to see Avs dish guys like Nemeth and Sven who they can easily replace internally for playoffs while recouping assets. Arguably the best defence 1-6 in the league when Makar joins.

Sakic did great with the Duchene trade, but turning waiver pickups into 2nd and 4th round picks is unlikely. I doubt you could get something more than a 5th-7th pick for these guys (or maybe conditions depending on games played/playoff success). Andrighetto has hardly played because he's always injured, and hasn't done much when he's in the lineup. I think it makes sense to move these guys (or Nieto/Barberio) as the season goes on though.

Also, "arguably the best 1-6 defense in the league" is a stretch to me. It's definitely much improved over the past few years, and should be fun to watch once Makar and Timmins crack the lineup.
