Matt Murray may be struggling now, but this deal doesn't make much if any sense for Pittsburgh. I don't see them going into a full rebuild because of a poor start. And trading away a young goaltender already with 2 cups for an aging veteran who's even worse seems a little like hitting the panic button. Can't see Pittsburgh even thinking about doing this one

My thoughts were a shake up for both. Also Pittsburg has Jarry waiting in the wings plus gives them cap relief next year, but totally understand why you wouldn’t want to trade him as well
