signing willy and trading for a d man while under the cap

Created by: sebski
Team: 2019-20 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Nov. 27, 2018
Published: Nov. 27, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
nylander signs for 6.9 but adjusted cap is 6.6 in years 2-6. cant see matthews thinking he deserves a ton more than tavares when tavares was in his prime on the open market and matthews is an rfa and not that much better.

columbus trade is just an idea they get 1 top 6 forward and a solid power play bottom 6 forward and a late first for a 4th d man and a struggling 3rd liner. leafs can add a prospect or pick if necessary.

I think you're overvaluing Brown, especially to a team whose 2nd round pick will be nearly a late first.

I don't see why Columbus would do that. I don't think they have interest in trading away Anderson especially if there is a chance they lose Panarin.

assumin columbus ends up choosing to retool after losing panarin either at the deadline or free agency
