Description
Trades:
Carolina: Hurricanes look to move up to get a new future #1 center in Logan Brown. They acquire Buffalos 8th overall pick and also get a strong candidate to become a starting goalie in the NHL in Linus Ullmark. In return, Buffalo gets a future top pairing LHD in Haydn Fleury who could as early as this season move into the top 4. Fleury is expendable to Carolina because of their large group of young, talented defenders there. Buffalo also moves down in draft to 13th overall and selects a offensive winger in Keller who will take a more years of development.
Edmonton: Edmonton needs help on right side, gets that with Franson. He is combined with a third rounder to get super disgruntled player Nail Yakupov.

Side note: Patrick Wiercioch is not tendered by the Senators which in turn makes him a UFA

Carolina has Lack, I don't see why they would want Ullmark, they give up a good d prospect to move up 5 spots. They could do that with just picks alone, they have 2 firsts and 2 seconds
