trade for LD

Description
For 2019-2020

For CAR, They need a top 9 forward and Hudon could fill in that role perfectly and with the upcoming of JAke Bean they can afford to trade Fleury..
For Edmonton, Alzner is still a good d-man and could bring some good experience to edmonton. + he fits perfectly with Hitchcock's playstyle. Adding Tatar to their top 6 could give them a chance in the playoff. Plus schlemko is an okay d-man .
MTL keeps their mentality of a quick team. Suzuki and Poehling are (I believe) ready for the NHL in 2019-2020. Brook is a good prospect but I think he would need another year or two to developp.

????? How can you say Alzner is still a good Dman if the Canadiens can't even use him? Hudon top nine?

I do think Alzner can play at an NHL level. The reason the canadian aren't using him is that they are playing a game that Alzner cannot addapt to..... Edmonton can use him and at 3.5 he can be worth it.
For Hudon, I think he has a lot of potential do become a solid forward. MTL does not have the space for him. We have too much bottom 6 forwards. With the right TOI he can become a 40-50 pts guy for sure.

Tell me coach, what's the style of game that Alzner can't play for the Habs, and what the style of play that makes him good for the Oilers? Oilers could have picked up for free via waivers.

No one wants alzner with his current cap hit....... Take some he gains some value. The fact that EDM gets Tatar in that deal is ( I think) the reason they take it. Tatar could play on their first or second line and help them get some depth.
I believe that Alzner can play a great tight defensive game that suits the Oilers under Hitchcock.
You don't have to agree with me coach. I'm just thinking out loud

No, I just wanted an explanation why Alzner is awful for the Habs but capable for the Oilers. You're right Tatar would be an offensive shot in arm for the Oilers. Now that Patches is injured, maybe Vegas will trade a 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounder for Tatarhappy
