Description
I'm convinced Panarin is coming back. There is just too much chatter around it and Kane has been courting him along with Panarin be quoted as saying "Chicago is very high on my list of teams I'd consider". Also reported the Hawks front office is going all in on him.

Crawford hangs it up and goes on LITR for the remainder of his contract in the 2020/2021 season. He retires a Hawk.

Hawks will likely look at Lehner to come in with Delia proving to be the long term future. Not sure what Lehner will cost but pegged him at $3.5M; could be another $1M but the hawks have the cap space.

Hawks draft Kakko...YES! This guy will be a huge difference maker but will start the season on the 3rd line. He may move up to the 1st line in his rookie season. This is my favorite pick in the draft. All top 5 picks in the draft, Hawks will get one of them, will slot right into the lineup.

The Hawks re-sign both Sikura and Perlini to 2 year bridges as bottom 6 wingers. SIkura needs to fill out and Perlini needs to learn better positioning and puck control. One of these two will end up sticking with the other being traded.

Yes, I would love to see the Hawks acquire Stone or Duchene, but really don't see them making 2 big moves, the 1st being Panarin especially with Kappo being drafted.

Hawks bring back Martinsen for another year to rotate in and out of the lineup when playing physical teams. He and Hayden are really the only two providing solid physicality unfortunately. Martinsen is very cheap and can provide solid depth. Also think Edjsell resigns but mainly as a Rockford player. I've sent him to Rockford as such.

Mitchell, Krys, Beaudin, Barratt all spend another year in the juniors and college.

Lastly, Seabs isn't going anywhere....PEOPLE STOP TRYING TO TRADE HIM! He will likely be a compliance buyout with the new CBA in 2020 resulting in the compliance buyout after the 2019/2020 season.

I love this idea and I’m also very convinced panarin is coming to Chicago. The goalies tho I think is ok... crow will be back next year and Chicago I think will play him backup so he don’t get any injuries and then he retires as Delia play starter next year. That’s just what I think is going to happen as crow is not on LTIR he’s just got ANOTHER injury to the head and he going to not be as good next year.

He's not on LITR because likely deciding what to do and going through neurological testing, brain scans, etc. and meeting with experts to determine long term impact. Him coming back after at least 2 major concussions in less then a 1 year with only 1 year left on his contract is unlikely. He contemplated retirement last time and with another happening so easily he would be crazy to come back. When he got hit, he clearly was suffering a bad concussion as he laid there and needed help to stand up and skate off the ice. We as fans, simply need to accept it. He gets paid 100% of his salary if he's on LITR so why risk his long term health?

Am wondering why you felt Robin Lehner warranted 4x3.5? I know he'd be looking for a longer term contract, but has he really proved anything with the Isles that earns him that contract? I'm not sure he has... I was actually the one clamoring for Lehner before the Hawks signed Ward, I thought he'd be good in Chicago... For the price he's being paid in NY.

I don't want 3.5, and especially not 4.5, tied up in him for four years. If you're looking to find someone between the pipes for four years+, gotta go big while 19&88 still have the gas to make the team competitive.

I am accepting it I don’t give a sh*t if he comes back I just feel like he might come back plus no one siad this cuncussion was serious we got to wait it’s to early to say. But I agree if it’s major he’s not going to come back. And I think even if it is not major and he can come back this year he won’t becuase why risk another injury for a team not making playoffs.

Good point, I just don't have a pulse on what he would cost. Delia is the future at this point, but need a vet for at least 2 years. Maybe bring back Ward for 2 years?

Ward is inconsistent, but he's had to stand on his head a ridiculous amount of times. I don't know if Lehner will be more inconsistent or not. Tough call. I just feel like at that point, if you're wondering which vet is going to be less inconsistent, you're probably more concerned about which one wants to make more money and will have a bigger cap impact...
