Ducks fan here-Kesler and Perry both have extremely restrictive no trade clauses in their contracts. There's really no reason to think that either would waive to go anywhere (I mean heck, why would you want to leave So-Cal?).
At this point, I feel like the team can be fairly comfortable knowing that one or the other will spend time on the LTIR each season and they'll get a bit of cap relief from that. They've also got their future core signed to/past the point where these two contracts come off the books, so it's not as bad as it looks. I have no problem letting Perry play out the end of his career as a Duck, or watching Kesler grind out 3rd line minutes.
