dont want to lose pavelchev. JJ may actually be worth a 6th if he play continues to get better. So not worth spending so much to ditch him.

JJ has found his game playing with Petterson. No point in paying to trade him when he is actually playing well. We don’t have the assets to trade out of bad contracts anyway lol

Your right, but the whole point of trading JJ is to make cap space that were going to need.

Maybe, IDK if he has found his game or is benefiting from a ridiculous on ice SV%. He’s not playing badly, but they have to trade someone to make room for other moves. Oleksiak doesn’t provide enough capspace and Maatta is better so why move him.

Not crapping on JJ anymore than most, but being ok still doesn’t justify sticking around when they have so many options.

Probably don’t have the assets to move that contract anyway tho

That’s what I’m saying. We don’t have the assets to move him, so no point in moving him. The only ones we really have should be making the jump and filling out the roster next year. You trade maatta cause he has the highest cap hit and can get the most return.
