These trades accurately depict the reality of Peter Chiarelli as GM. *Edited to mention that you needed to include Edmonton's first round pick somewhere.

I couldnt really do anything with their cap situation. Edmonton is so damn hard to create trades with since they're so close to the cap

You left 29 people on the roster if you remove 6 players you aren't even close to cap, especially since EDM has ~3M in LTIR cap to play with already.

For the Nuge trade, Nuge is just under PPG and has been carrying a line with linemates such has Lucic, JP, Khaira, Kassian, Spooner. Not to mention Jones has about equal value to BJorkstrand so you traded Nuge for Milano and Kukan.. Try Nuge+Benning/Bear for Wennberg, Anderson and Milano
