Why would Nashville give a 2nd + 5th for a guy who can't crack Buffalo's lineup? That's pretty awful.

While i would love to see Detroit get a 2019 2nd for Vanek, I doubt he waives his full NTC unless it's for a cup contender. And sorry Buffalo isn't one this year.

Beaulieu wasn't even worth the 3rd pick Buffalo gave up for him, why would the Preds give up 3 potential pieces for him?

Beaulieu has actually had a good season, better than Scandella, and it's been a point of contention that Scandella keeps getting played. Beaulieu was on pace for career highs everywhere, but Scandella has a bigger cap hit. Its insanely frustrating and the roster mismanagement is why they slumped in December. That said a 2nd is high.

Why would buffalo give up a 2nd for Vanek, hes old and slow and doesn't help the team now or in the future
